PTC programs, only to watch with disappointment as many of them have given up and walked away less than one week later.
From the follow up research I have done, I have concluded that the vast majority of these people quit trying to make an income with PTC because (1) they did not understand a few basic principles about how PTC programs work - and (2) because they were looking for an instant get rich quick fix.
I wanted to do something to address the situation - and this is the main reason why I have put this web site together.
So on this page I want to give you some hard facts about what PTC is and what PTC is not so you can decide whether or not you are prepared to do what is required before you sign up to any programs.
What exactly is a paid to click program?
Paid to click (PTC) programs are exactly what they say. Quite simply, you sign up for a free account, log in and check for new adverts every day, then you click on each ad as it becomes available, view it for 30 seconds or so, and hey presto! You get paid! Paid to Click - or free money programs as they are sometimes called - are an ideal option for anyone who doesn’t want to spend any money to make money. They also provide a very easy way of making a part time income from home, and do not take up very much of your time (7-10 hours a week tops).
The principle behind PTC sites is simple: A group of advertisers pay the site owners a nominal fee to advertise their products to the members. In return the site members are paid a nominal amount (usually between 0.01c and 0.002c) to view the advertisements.
What a PTC program is not
First and foremost, PTC programs are not get rich quick schemes - in fact I would even go one step further than that and say they are not get rich schemes at all. Please do not join PTC programs thinking that they will provide you with a full time income in a matter of weeks. It simply isn’t going to happen.
So just how do you make money from PTC programs when they pay so little?
Many people who join PTC programs get disillusioned very quickly when they realize that for every 20 minutes they spend clicking they only earn 20 or 30 cents for their trouble. That’s less than one dollar per hour... peanuts in other words - and who in their right mind would bother?
STOP RIGHT THERE!
I’ll be quite honest with you and tell you that the money you make as an individual through PTC sites will probably never pay for much more than a small chocolate bar each day, but what you have to remember - and I can’t stress this enough - is the money is in the referrals. (Do not worry if you have not got a clue how to find referrals - I’m going to show you exactly how to do this in the other pages of this site!)
Let me give you an example:
DealsnCash is a well respected PTC site that pays it’s members $0.01 for every ad they click and $0.01 for every ad their referrals click. The average number of ads made available each day is 5, meaning the average figure you as an individual will earn is 5 cents per day. 5 cents for 2 -3 minutes of clicking may seem like a total waste of time. But now imagine you have 50 referrals all clicking 5 ads each day too. Your daily income has instantly risen to $2.50, without you having to lift a finger! That’s $75 a month residual cash. And 50 referrals is a conservative figure. Once you’ve built up to 100 referrals you are looking at monthly earnings of at least $150... $300 for 200 referrals... and so it goes on.
And there I am just talking about one PTC program! If you join 10 other programs and have 200 referrals repeating the same process... well I’m sure you can work it out for yourself!
Spending 20 minutes a day clicking those same ads for something in the region of $1,000+ a month doesn’t sound quite so bad does it?
Another point you need to remember is the qualities you need to make a success of an online business are exactly the same as those required to develop a profitable offline business. I’ve been involved in online marketing for over 3 years now and one of the many things I have learnt is that no matter what some sites may promise you, there is no such thing as a get rich quick fix. Some of the ways of earning online are not difficult, but you only get out of it what you put in. It takes hard work, determination and perseverance just like in the “real” world. If you follow the advice in this web site I more or less guarantee you will start to see results pretty quickly, but don’t get disillusioned if progress is slow to start off with. The figures I’m quoting you on this page are most certainly achievable - if you give it time to develop and you are above all else consistent in your efforts. Remember the famous saying “Rome wasn‘t built in a day” and you won’t go far wrong.
